AthleticFoodie was founded by gold medal Olympian Garrett Weber-Gale and his family who believe that good taste and healthy food really can go together. Garrett considers nutrition to be a key element in his success, helping him to win two gold medals in the Beijing Olympics.
Garrett continues to train for international competition, most recently winning U.S. Nationals in the 100 Freestyle as well as gold and bronze at the 2011 Long Course World Championships in Shanghai and gold and silver medals at the 2010 World Short Course Championships in Dubai. Beyond his athletic pursuits, he has gained considerable experience as a foodie by working with world-renowned chefs in America, Denmark, France and Italy.
